What is GMAT
The GMAT® (Graduate Management Admissions test) is standardized test, that evaluates Verbal, Mathematical and Analytical skills of an individual. This test primarily helps graduate business schools assess the potential of the applicants for various programs in business and management. Across the globe, there are almost 1500 management schools and institutes that require GMAT®scores from the applicants.
The GMAT® is different from most other tests. This is Computer-Adaptive Test, and no two students get an identical set of questions. The test is scored on a maximum of 800. The GMAT® Score acts as one of the major factors in the application process but cannot alone guarantee an admit to a desired business school. The other parts of application that makes it stronger are professional experience, College grades, essays, interview and all. The GMAT® has four sections – Verbal, Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning and Analytical Writing Assessment.
